Quattour began with a single opening and kept growing until there were four. Each neck is pinched and folded by hand, so the long, low form rises and dips like a small line of hills, and it looks different from every side. I finished her in a soft matte cream glaze flecked with sea-green speckle. She is made for four single stems, a few dried grasses, or nothing at all, sitting on a dining table or console as a sculpture. Handbuilt in stoneware, Quattour is entirely one of a kind.
