Maris is part of the Kyma family, where I explore the language of waves in clay. Her surface rises and dips the way water folds over itself. The glaze pools into the low points and pulls away from the ridges, leaving traces of blue, grey, and warm earth. She works beautifully for charcuterie or as a centrepiece. Food-safe, high-fired stoneware.
